With the holiday shopping season upon us, I thought I’d share some of my current favorites that would make fantastic gifts for the woman in your life (or for yourself!). These are some of my beauty and fashion staples that are a must have in my opinion. Read on to see what you need to pick up this Black Friday…
Abercrombie High Rise Leggings: These are my absolute favorite jeans and I own them in way too many colors. They are technically leggings which means they are super comfortable and stretchy. Some jean leggings can look more like leggings, and I like that these look just like jeans and you can’t tell they are actually jean leggings. They are currently 50% off!
Madewell Textured Tie-Front Top: I love this top and have it in two colors (it only comes in three colors, so I’m pretty close to owning them all, haha!). This top is just perfect because it is very casual, but has subtle details that make it more interesting. The texture is a nice detail, in addition to the tie-front and the sleeves actually flare slightly at the ends. It is incredibly comfortable and makes you look very pulled together.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Bronzer: I have been loving this bronzer! I have the shade saddle and it works well for my light-medium, slightly olive skin tone. I am always look for products that are more on the clean side, and I like that this bronzer gives off good pigment while still being paraben, sulphate, phthalate, and talc free.
IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream: If you want to find the best of the best for foundation, I’m your girl. I had acne as a teenager and finding the perfect foundation was always a necessity. I no longer have acne, but I still wear foundation daily. I’ve never considered using a CC cream since they tend to have lighter coverage, but this particular CC cream has amazing medium to full coverage. It is also amazing at color correcting and it erases all of my redness. It is also paraben and phthalate free and has SPF 50+ with anti-aging benefits.
Glossier Generation G Lipstick: I have really been loving all things Glossier lately. These sheer lipsticks are fantastic. I have them in a bunch of colors and they are amazing! I love how they are sheer, but you can easily build them up. They are great every day lipsticks and give a nice tint to the lips without being overpowering.
Marc Jacobs Daisy: In all honesty, I got this perfume free from a student (teacher perk!). However, I absolutely love it and it has been my go-to perfume! This is a very romantic and floral perfume that makes me feel very feminine. The bottle is also quite pretty and it looks nice on my dresser!
Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara: If you like thick, full lashes, you will love this mascara! It does a great job at plumping up the lashes without looking clumpy. The brush itself is great and is full as can be which hints at the impact it has on the lashes. The only negatives are that it does tend to flake for me and it is VERY hard to remove (even with makeup remover). However, that is a testament to the wear of the mascara for sure.
